Vincent Rapide Shadowised

Four times World Superbike Champion Carl Fogarty aided by racers Jamie Whitham and Phil Read picked the winning ticket for a 40,000 Vincent "Shadowised" Rapide draw at the National Motorcycle Museum (NMM) on 31st October 2015. The occasion was the museum's 2nd Annual Museum Live Open Day. Of special interest was Foggy's first motorcycle. The bike, a Honda C50 special, was a tenth birthday present. He hadn't see it for almost 40 years. It's now on display. Museum director James Hewing was very pleased at the "huge turnout". This event, he says, will now become a permanent fixture. The Vincent Rapide, incidentally, was won by Phillip Tingle, ticket number 1574620. Here's a link to the new NMM raffle.
