This is a very popular classic bike show in Essex bandit country and features a large and always colourful display of classic motorcycles, trikes, club stands and an autojumble. Expect refreshments, a bar, excellent live music and entertainment for the kiddies (bouncy castle, etc). You can also visit the Battlesbridge Motorcycle Museum housing assorted biking memorabilia and various classic and vintage motorcycles (there is a small charge to enter museum). Take note that the Battlesbridge bike show is adjacent to a large antiques centre in which you can perhaps lose your 'significant other' for a couple of hours while you get on with the serious business of mucking about with motorcycles. Plus, there's often a big car boot sale just down the road (you'll have to search the net for that). Overall, you can have a pretty full day down at Battlesbridge with the whole family.

This popular classic vehicle show offers a huge number of classic, custom and American cars, classic and custom motorcycles, classic commercial vehicles and a large autojumble. Expect some rare tin and pretty much every classic Ford in Essex and dozens of beautiful Greeves motorcycles (built just down the road, don't ya know). Entertainment is provided by a live rock band usually bashing out the hits of the seventies and eighties, and there is a play area for the sprogs. Various refreshments are available on the site. You can also visit the Battlesbridge Motorcycle Museum - kept afloat by volunteer labour, take note (there is a small charge to enter museum).
Open: 10.00am to 5.00pm
Admission: Adult £5.00, accompanied under 16s go free. The entry is free to a driver/rider (plus a single passenger) of a classic display vehicle if booked 14 days in advance.
